Andy Wirth: RASC’s New Chairman and President

The Regional Air Service Corporation was created to join the private and public organizations in the Reno-Tahoe Area. They are responsible for marketing and promoting the air services at The International Airport. RASC focuses on increasing the quality of air service and also targets tourism concerns that are common in the area.

On January 12, 2016, Reno-Tahoe Regional Air Service announced their new Chairman and President Mr. Andy Wirth. Mr. Wirth is also the President and CEO of Squaw Valley Ski Holdings. During his interview, he stated that he was honored to take the role and believes in the future of the region.

Andy understands how important the air service can be for a growing community and looks forward to the position. Mr. Wirth has extraordinary expertise. He is familiar with airports and air service for resorts located in Colorado and as far as Quebec.

During a meeting in regards to traffic issues in Squaw, Wirth stated that he wants to resolve the problem and lead the path to their success. He thinks that if they get in front of the voters about the issue, they will have a reliable transit system in north Lake Tahoe.

Wirth has many talents and levels of experience. According to WSJ, Andy Wirth has attended the famous show Undercover Boss, served as a liaison for Lake Tahoe and he has extensive resort management skills.
