Religious Back Ground -

What is your Religious Background?

Do you have a Christian Background?

Did you go to Church when you were Growing up?

Eternal Life

1.  Do you know for certain that you have eternal life (and that you will go to heaven when you die) ?

2.  If you were to stand before the gates of heaven and God were to say to you
"Why should I let you into My Heaven?", what would you say to Him?

3.  Do you know what the bible says about how to get eternal life (salvation, heaven)? (in the event that there is a God and there is a heaven - I'm not trying to dictate what you should believe, but why would you reject something that you  that you don't even know about?) (remember that it in not your responsibility to save anyone, but to share the message of the truth with them- if you can cut through their excuses enough to be able to plant the seed (the Word) in their heart, then the Holy Spirit can work in their life to bring them to a saving knowledge of Jesus)

Pascal's Wager:

"If I live like there is a God and there isn't then according to you I've wasted my life….
BUT…..
If someone lives like there Isn't a God (or God doesn't Exist) then they've wasted their eternity

      (you)     live                                                                                       (you've)             your

Teleological Argument - Building / Painter argument (Duh -  How to make an atheist backslide)

When you look at a building how do you know there was a builder? When you look at a painting how do you know there was a painter? When you look at creation how do you know there was a creator? We are here by design…

Atheist to Agnostic Argument - For an "atheist" to know that there is no God (for certain) then they would have to possess all knowledge. Since they are obviously not omniscient, they are (really) a Skeptic (AKA- Agnostic). (Lie Detector Machine – professing atheist yields a false reading on polygraph tests)

If this Circle Represents All Knowledge -that is- everything there is to know about everything possible to be known.  (This includes Science, Biology Medicine, Math, Music, Architecture, History, etc.)   How much do you think you know? (a little, a lot?) This is how much I probably know… (show a little) …Ok so if this is all that you know - is it possible that the knowledge of God could be somewhere else in the circle that is outside of your sphere of knowledge?

Ok then you are really not an atheist - you’re an agnostic.  You're not sure if there is a God (you don't know for certain).  So with that established - there are two kinds of agnostics:

Honest Agnostics & Dishonest Agnostics

An Honest Agnostics  would say that if there really is a God and He revealed Himself to me
than I would believe (want to know Him)

A Dishonest Agnostic would say that if there really is a God and He revealed Himself to me
                                      than I don’t care.

Which category do you fall in?
